


We are a family business and have been taking care of your physical well-being in the kitchen and service since 1961.
Typical Austrian dishes with regional products are served from the kitchen. Depending on the season, our specialties are lamb, fish, Mediterranean and game dishes. Homemade pastries are served for dessert.
First-class Austrian wines are stored in the wine cellar. Fine drinks and the Salzburg Stiegl beer quench the thirst of our guests.
We are a NON-SMOKING LOCAL and have space for about 85 people.
The Restaurant is ideal for weddings, christenings, birthday parties and company celebrations for up to 80 people.
Around 50 people can spend a leisurely day in the guest garden while the children are busy on the playground.
You will find free parking directly in front of the house.

Chronicle of our house
The Gasthof zur Seeburg was first mentioned in a document in 1586. In 1961 the Spatzenegger family acquired the entire property and managed it. The inn has been owned by Franz and Friederike Spatzenegger since 1978. The son Jürgen has been a chef since 1993 and the daughter-in-law Alexandra has been part of the service team since 1998. In 2013 Jürgen and Alexandra Spatzenegger took over the business.

The Mozart city of Salzburg, the Seekirchen train station and the modern beach at Wallersee, cycling and hiking trails in the immediate vicinity.
A shady guest garden with a wonderful view of the lake and the mountains invites you to linger and offers space for around 50 people.
There is a nice little playground for the children.
The house also has a few guest rooms and a pavilion.
Three minutes away from Seeburg Castle, the inn is particularly suitable for weddings and celebrations for up to 70 people.
The landlords spoil their guests with regional, seasonal cuisine, culinary specialties, e.g. E.g. Bratl in the Reindl, lamb and fish dishes, as well as 4- to 6-course menus on advance order.
In addition to freshly tapped Stiegl beer, first-class Austrian wines from the hotel's own wine cellar are served.
